Turn Off AUTOMATIC "Check for Updates"

CALSoft5 includes a feature to automatically check for updates if an internet connection is detected. If an update is available, you will be notified and given the choice to install the update or skip and not install. To ensure that you have the most current working version of CALSoft, it is recommended that you install any updates that are available.

If you would like to disable this feature of checking for automatic updates, follow these instructions...

  1. Open CALSoft 5
  2. Click on the "Preferences" link at the bottom of the main dashboard.
  3. On the CALSoft Setup tab, you will see an option for "Check for New CALSoft Version Once a Day during Application Startup?".   Un-check this option to disable the automatic "check for updates"

NOTE that you can still check for updates at any time (if you are connected to the internet) by clicking on "Check for Updates" at the bottom of the main CALSoft 5 dashboard.
